Philly photography is one of my passions. I tell stories about this city and capture my favorite locations on film.
Laurel Hill Cemetery was one of the first of it’s kind in the United States; a pastoral cemetery set outside the city to provide not only more space but quiet reflection for Philadelphian’s visiting their departed loved ones. Today it is also considered an outdoor sculptural and horticultural garden. The cemetery opened around 1835.
This is a matted 5″ x 7″ photograph (NOT a digital file) with an 8″ x 10″ black mat and backing board featuring a tomb at Laurel Hill Cemetery at sunset.
