Philly photography is one of my passions. I tell stories about this city and capture my favorite locations on film.
Eastern State Penn, built in 1829, was the world’s first true penitentiary. Prisons around the world were based on ESP’s model of penitent isolation. The prison closed in 1971 and today serves as a historic and educational site, working towards prison reform.
This is a matted 5″ x 7″ photograph (NOT a digital file) with an 8″ x 10″ black mat and backing board featuring and interior hallway of Easter State Penitentiary.
Since the way color is displayed on a screen varies from one monitor to another, there may be slight color variations compared to what your monitor displays.
