Philly photography is one of my passions. I tell stories about this city and capture my favorite locations on film.
Construction began on the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in January, 1922, although plans for a bridge crossing the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Camden, NJ, began almost 100 years earlier. The bridge opened in 1926 and for the first three years it had the longest single span of any suspension bridge in the world.
This is a matted 5″ x 7″ photograph (NOT a digital file) with an 8″ x 10″ black mat and backing board of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
